JK Rowling hints at misuse of charity funds in prank call

A Russian prank call to JK Rowling was held last week where the author was not aware she was being recorded and asked if her charity could fund weapons to kill Russians, but say it was for children by whom she believed to be Zelensky (begins 7:13 in video). She said that she understood.

German authorities steal three Munich apartments belonging to Russian Duma member and family

[Editor’s note] This site does not keep a record of all unlawful seizures, regardless of the owners, as these are well documented elsewhere. However, the article mentions prosecutors in Munich and Munich has been prolific in anti-Russian actions.

Prosecutors in Munich said the Duma lawmaker and his wife — identified only as L. and K. respectively in line with German privacy rules — jointly own two of the apartments in the Bavarian city, and continued to earn money from rent on the properties in violation of sanctions. The bank account that was seized receives monthly rental payments of around 3,500 euros ($3,670), according to prosecutors.

The Google summer of code 2022 has banned Russian and Belorussian participants. Alphabet aka Google have also labelled, censored and banned both independent and state affiliated Russian media. Google have stopped users carrying out normal financial transactions via the Play store and Youtube.

Stealing funds from Russian Scientists

The European Geoscience Union General Assembly has stolen the registration fees from Russian scientists.

Milton Keynes girl bullied

Police have met with Milton Keynes residents who are of Russian and Ukrainian origin to discuss hate crime.

And they have reassured them that everybody who lives or works in MK has a right to feel safe here.

A police spokesman said today: “We discussed their experiences of hate crime, how we investigate them and how to make a report to us when English isn’t your first language.

“We also spoke to a young girl who told us that she has been bullied at school in recent weeks.”
